Tamarack Falls is a waterfall on Tamarack Creek in Mariposa County, California, in the Sierra Nevada region, with a total height of about 100 feet. It lies about 7.5 miles west of Yosemite Valley and roughly 51.5 miles northeast of Merced as the crow flies.
At 100 feet it is taller than the typical California waterfall of about 70 feet, ranking 101st of 286 with a recorded height. The water comes down as a horsetail, where the water keeps some contact with the bedrock as it falls.
