Tryst Falls is a waterfall on Williams Creek in Clay County, Missouri, in the Central Irregular Plains region, with a total height of about 8 feet. It lies about 3.5 miles northwest of Excelsior Springs and roughly 19.6 miles north of East Independence as the crow flies.
At 8 feet it is among the ten tallest of the 8 Missouri waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 7th. The water comes down as a block waterfall, wider than it is tall, spilling over a broad ledge.
The Central Irregular Plains are rolling terrain of former prairie and oak woodland, now farmland, with only a few small waterfalls.
It is the only recorded waterfall in Clay County.
