Twin Falls is a waterfall on Barton Creek within Austin's Barton Creek Greenbelt, in Travis County, Texas, about 2.3 miles from Rollingwood.
The falls
The creek drops here in two stages, at a spot the city's greenbelt trail map places along the main route. Its height is not documented. Barton Creek runs through the Edwards Plateau's limestone Hill Country terrain, with spring-fed water crossing ledges into pools.
Getting there
The greenbelt is reached from 3918 South Mopac Expressway, where parking is limited to free street spaces and the trails are rough and uneven. Park use is not allowed after 10 p.m. As of September 25, 2026, the greenbelt remained open on the city's facilities-closures list.

Barton Creek's flow depends on rainfall, and the city does not monitor it.

Twin Falls is a popular swimming spot about a half-mile from the nearest entry point, with no admission fee or reservation required; swimming is at each visitor's own risk. Dogs must be leashed, on a lead no longer than six feet.
