Warwoman Dell Falls is a 15-foot horsetail waterfall in the Warwoman Dell Recreation Area of Rabun County, Georgia, about 2.8 miles east of Clayton.
The falls
The fall is listed at 15 feet in a single drop, though the height has been given as low as 10 feet elsewhere and as 12 feet in older tallies, about a quarter less than the current figure. It is mapped as an unconfirmed horsetail with a low flow, and it is sometimes placed on a tributary of Becky Branch rather than the main branch itself.
Getting there
The falls sit at the end of the nature trail system in Warwoman Dell Recreation Area, part of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. The trail system runs 1.1 miles, is used year-round, and charges no entry fee; no reservation is required. The Forest Service calls the area family-friendly and open to dogs on its trails.
