Wildwood Falls is a 15-foot segmented plunge waterfall on the Row River in Lane County, Oregon, about 1.5 miles from Culp Creek. The falls sit in a Lane County day-use park where the river pours over basalt into a wide pool, and in summer the spot draws swimmers and picnickers.
The falls
The Row River splits into three or four channels as it crosses a basalt cliff, with the strands merging into one broad sheet at high water. A single drop measures 15 feet with an average width of about 10 feet. Below the falls the river spreads into a pool beside a gravel bar. Regional records also list the feature as Row River Falls.
Getting there
From Cottage Grove, travel along Row River Road east for 17.5 miles, then take the signed left fork at Culp Creek for another 0.8 mile. There is no formal parking lot: roadside pullouts hold about 15 vehicles, and viewing areas are a short walk from the road. The falls can also be reached from Lasell Stewart Park on the opposite bank.
The park is open for day use all year from dawn to dusk. Parking requires a Lane County Day Pass ($5 per vehicle) or Annual Pass ($40), payable through the Passport Parking app with zone code 97506.
When to go
Flow is strongest in winter and spring. Summer brings warm-weather recreation, when the gravel bar is used for wading and picnics.

Lane County lists swimming, a picnic area, a portable restroom and viewing areas along the river, though a 2025 visitor noted finding no facilities. The county warns that the water near the falls and in the chute above has powerful currents that can be more dangerous than they look. On July 1, 2014, a 16-year-old drowned here trying to rescue his younger brother, who had been swept over the falls; a submerged log trapped the rescuer while the younger boy escaped. Visitors must stay out of the current near the drop.
