Ambler Cascade is a waterfall on Ambler Brook in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut, in the Northeastern Coastal Zone region, with a total height of about 8 feet. It lies about 1.6 miles east of Georgetown and roughly 9 miles north of Norwalk as the crow flies.
At 8 feet it is one of the lowest falls in the state’s records: of the 53 Connecticut waterfalls with a documented height only 3 are shorter, while the typical Connecticut waterfall stands around 25 feet. The water comes down as a cascade, descending over a series of rock steps rather than in a single drop.
