Dolman Rapids is a rapid on the Snake River in Twin Falls County, Idaho, a short channel bypassed by Idaho Power Company's Upper Salmon Falls hydroelectric project, about 10.8 miles from Wendell. A 2009 state summary of the river's hydro projects also calls the rapids the Cavanaghs.
The falls
The Snake runs here through the Snake River Plain, where the river has cut down into basalt. At Upper Salmon Falls, about 500 cfs is diverted over a side weir on the power canal into the rapids. The Dolman bypass is 0.25 mile long.

The rapids sit within Idaho Power's Upper Salmon Falls project. Public access, parking and put-in or take-out points aren't documented.
When to go
Flow through the bypass depends on the power project rather than the natural river. State water planning records from 1993 describe reduced flow in this multi-channel reach during the irrigation season.
