Bemis Brook Falls is a 25-foot, four-step cascade on Bemis Brook in Crawford Notch State Park, Carroll County, New Hampshire, just off the Arethusa Falls Trail.
The falls
Bemis Brook drops in four small stair-step tiers totaling about 25 feet. Flow runs consistently through the year, strongest with spring runoff and lower by late summer and autumn.
Getting there
The falls are reached from the Arethusa Falls trailhead on US 302 in Crawford Notch State Park. About 0.2 mile in, the Bemis Brook Trail branches off, passing Fawn Pool and Coliseum Falls before reaching Bemis Brook Falls and rejoining the main trail at about 0.7 mile. The park plans year-round hiking access in 2026; the trailhead parking lot is plowed in winter, though winter facilities are not available.
When to go
Winter parking remains open, but trail conditions and facilities are limited that season.

The falls are visible from the Bemis Brook Trail. Dogs are allowed on a leash no longer than six feet. Whether there is a wheelchair-accessible route, and what the swimming rule is, is not documented.
