Castlewood Falls is a 20-foot waterfall on Cherry Creek in Douglas County, Colorado, in the Southwestern Tablelands region. It lies about 5.3 miles east of Castle Rock as the crow flies.
At 20 feet it is on the modest side for Colorado, where the typical waterfall with a recorded height stands around 65 feet; it ranks 140th of 162. By form it is a plunge, where the water drops vertically and loses contact with the rock face.
The Southwestern Tablelands are semi-arid canyonlands and mesas of shortgrass prairie, juniper and shinnery oak. Seasonal streams drop over sandstone and caprock ledges.
It is the only recorded waterfall in Douglas County.
