Hondo Creek Falls is a 230-foot waterfall on Hondo Creek in Archuleta County, Colorado, in the Southern Rockies region. It lies about 13.9 miles east of Pagosa Springs and roughly 120 miles north of Santa Fe as the crow flies.
At 230 feet it stands in the tallest quarter of Colorado’s 162 waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 28th; the typical Colorado waterfall is about 65 feet. By form it is a plunge, where the water drops vertically and loses contact with the rock face.
