North Fork South Arkansas Falls is a waterfall on North Fork South Arkansas River in Chaffee County, Colorado, in the Southern Rockies region, with a total height of about 10 feet. It lies about 14.8 miles west of Salida and roughly 79.4 miles west of Colorado Springs as the crow flies.
At 10 feet it is one of the lowest falls in the state’s records: of the 162 Colorado waterfalls with a documented height only 1 are shorter, while the typical Colorado waterfall stands around 65 feet. The water comes down as a horsetail, where the water keeps some contact with the bedrock as it falls.
