Blooms Eddy is a stretch of rapids in Jefferson County, Kentucky, in the Interior Plateau region. It lies about 1 miles north of Louisville as the crow flies.
The Interior Plateau is a rolling limestone landscape of pasture, oak-hickory woodland and cedar glades in Kentucky and Tennessee, riddled with springs, sinkholes and caves. Waterfalls drop over limestone ledges and in karst valleys.
It is the only recorded rapid in Jefferson County. Warehouse Riffle, is about 27.3 miles away across the state line in Indiana.
