Rib Falls is a stretch of rapids on Big Rib River in Marathon County, Wisconsin, in the North Central Hardwood Forests region. It lies about 4.2 miles northeast of Edgar and roughly 78.7 miles east of Eau Claire as the crow flies.
The North Central Hardwood Forests are a transition zone of maple, oak and basswood forest, lakes and farmland between the northern conifer forests and the prairies. Waterfalls occur where rivers cut through sandstone and bedrock ledges.
It is the only recorded rapid in Marathon County. Bill Cross Rapids, is about 20 miles away. Posey Rapids, is about 22 miles away.

The listing is based on the World Waterfall Database, one of the sources compiled by the U.S. Geological Survey in its inventory of waterfalls and rapids of the conterminous United States. The creek name is confirmed against the federal Geographic Names Information System. The position was verified on aerial imagery.
