Tower Falls is a stretch of rapids on Russell Fork in Dickenson County, Virginia, in the Central Appalachians region. It lies about 12.8 miles northeast of Clintwood and roughly 52.8 miles north of Kingsport as the crow flies.
The Central Appalachians are a high, rugged plateau of sandstone and shale with mixed oak, hemlock and northern hardwood forest and a cool, wet climate. Streams drop steeply through gorges and hollows over sandstone ledges.
It is the only recorded rapid in Dickenson County.
