Ammons Creek Falls is a 75-foot tiered waterfall on Ammons Creek in Rabun County, Georgia, in the Chattahoochee National Forest. It sits just upstream of the creek's junction with Holcomb Creek, and a wooden observation deck on the Holcomb Creek Trail loop looks out on it.
The falls
The World Waterfall Database measures tiered horsetails and, from lidar data, a drop of about 75 feet with two distinct steps of about 15 and 50 feet separated by cascades. Older surveys gave 40 feet. In one reading it is a single 50-foot slide, and the creek cascades for more than 100 feet in total.
Getting there
From Clayton, drive east on Warwoman Road for 10 miles and turn left onto Hale Ridge Road (FS 7). The Holcomb Creek Trail starts where Hale Ridge Road meets Overflow Road (FS 86); park east of that intersection. The loop visits Holcomb Creek Falls and, by a short spur, the Ammons Creek deck, then ends back on Hale Ridge Road. The loop is reported at 1.3 to 1.75 miles, and is rated moderate. Admission is free.

The site is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Seasonal flow isn't documented.
