Bridal Veil Falls is a 25-foot horsetail waterfall on the outlet of Dierkes Lake in Twin Falls County, Idaho, next to Shoshone Falls.
The falls
The falls are an unconfirmed feature where the lake's outlet flumes into a stone culvert beneath the park road; a lidar survey puts the drop at about 25 feet. Flow is described as low, and the fall may sit below the usual size threshold for a waterfall listing. The name Bridal Veil first applied to part of nearby Shoshone Falls before shifting to this outlet.
Getting there
The falls sit inside Dierkes Lake Park, at 4155 Shoshone Falls Grade Road, which has parking, restrooms, trails and a 1.7-mile unpaved loop around the lake. A vehicle fee of $5 applies from March through September, with summer hours of 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and the entry gate closing at 9 p.m. A dedicated trail or viewpoint for this particular falls is not documented.
