Columbine Cascade is a waterfall in Teton County, Wyoming, in the Middle Rockies region, with a total height of about 320 feet. It lies about 22.4 miles northeast of Driggs and roughly 71.3 miles northeast of Idaho Falls as the crow flies.
At 320 feet it stands in the tallest quarter of Wyoming’s 230 waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 18th; the typical Wyoming waterfall is about 60 feet. The water comes down as a horsetail, where the water keeps some contact with the bedrock as it falls.
The Middle Rockies are high, glaciated mountain ranges with alpine peaks, subalpine fir and spruce forest, lodgepole pine and grassy intermontane valleys. Snowmelt streams cascade down glacial valleys and canyon walls.
