Light Gulch Falls is a 400-foot waterfall on Willow Creek Run in Garfield County, Colorado, in the Colorado Plateaus region. It lies about 11.8 miles northwest of Parachute and roughly 42.1 miles northeast of Grand Junction as the crow flies.
At 400 feet it is among the ten tallest of the 162 Colorado waterfalls with a recorded height, ranking 5th. By form it is a horsetail, where the water keeps some contact with the bedrock as it falls.
The Colorado Plateaus are a high desert of layered sandstone mesas, canyons and plateaus with pinyon-juniper woodland and sagebrush. Waterfalls here are often seasonal, spilling over sandstone ledges after storms or snowmelt.
